RE/MAX and Childrens Miracle Network
RE/MAX® Associates have earned a strong reputation for their high level of community support in towns and cities across the world. This focus on community makes the Children's Miracle Network (CMN) the perfect volunteer effort to receive the backing of the entire RE/MAX network. CMN is a non-profit organization founded in 1983 to generate funds for hospitalized children. All the funds raised for CMN are given to hospitals in the same communities where the funds are raised.
When RE/MAX International became the official real estate sponsor for the Children's Miracle Network in 1992, it had two objectives: to affiliate itself with a national charity distinguished for improving health care for children, and to make the world a better place for the people we serve.
The offices in the RE/MAX of Michigan Region participate in a variety
of fundraisers for CMN including Karaoke Nights, Chili Cook-Offs, Raffles,
Silent Auctions and more. Perhaps the most successful fundraising effort
is the Miracle Home Program. A RE/MAX Associate may designate any or all
listings as a Miracle Home. With each transaction, a portion of the Associate's
commission is donated to CMN.
RE/MAX and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation

The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation has raised more than $240 million for research, education, screening and treatment since 1982. The foundation is best known for its Race for the Cure events, the world's largest series of 5K runs and fitness walks. Komen expects more than 1.5 million people to participate in its 2003 races.
Komen's Survivor Recognition Program celebrates breast cancer survivors and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease. RE/MAX shares sponsorship of the 2003 program with Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity, a nonprofit volunteer organization.
RE/MAX contributes to racers' "I'm a Survivor" pink tee-shirts, caps, "In Honor of" and "In Memory of" back-signs, and program banners for each race. RE/MAX Associates who are breast cancer survivors or who have been otherwise affected by the disease are encouraged to solicit fund-raising pledges for their own participation in the events. Corporate representatives will host Breast Cancer Survivor Recognition tents at the races.
